Petaluma Bounty Farm Beehive Closing Workshop November 7

A workshop announcement from Petaluma Bounty Community Farm Manager Lennie Larkin:

Date and Time: Saturday, November 7th, 121 pm (with additional time for Q&A to follow – please bring a brown bag lunch to sit and chat all things bees! )

Rain Date: If it happens to be raining, please call Lennie at 707-364-4883 to check if we will reschedule.

Description: Join expert beekeeper Adam Kinsey and Bounty staff as we follow the cycles of the farm and get our hives ready for the winter quiet times, when they rest in preparation for the spring.

Bees are a highly important part of our farm ecosystem. They provide pollination for our orchard and other crops, as well as for the gardens of all our neighbors!

Cost: Attendees are asked for a suggested donation of $30, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Registration: Required, and limited to 8. Please email Lennie at farm(at)petalumabounty.org to reserve your space!
