“When the electoral arena reveals itself to be an instrument of the 1 percent, where will the Sanders movement go? Will people accept the lessons of their own experience, integrate the Princeton study into their worldview, and re-form to claim their authentic power: nonviolent direct action?”
The Princeton study he refers to concluded that U.S.-style democracy was dominated by wealthy elites via a process in which public opinion has little or no impact on public policy.
