Grow Your Own! Ellen Solomon’s Seed Starting Class at SRJC March 19

Longtime local arborist Ellen Solomon is now offering her Seed Starting class at the Santa Rosa Junior College Petaluma campus community garden.

Start seeds and grow your own vegetables.

Learn basic principles of vegetable gardening, soils and seeds to successfully grow your own seeds for your four season garden.

Tour SRJC – Petaluma’s new Community Garden.

You bring seeds and containers; we provide planting media.

You go home with your own vegetable starts. Classroom instruction, then hands-on outdoors in the garden.


Taught by Ellen Solomon, Certified Arborist and Orchard Manager. She grows her own vegetables four seasons. Ellen has an A.S. Degree in Horticulture and practices in Sonoma County. She is the owner of NorthBayHorticulture.com.
