The Seed Bank sends Sonoma Food News to ask for your vote for Measure M

The Sonoma Food News arrived in our mailboxes on Thursday, November 3, exhorting us to vote for the GMO ban in Sonoma County – Measure M on the November 8 ballot.

The 8-page News was published by Jere Gettle and the Seed Bank folks. Gettle has long supported the effort to prevent GM contamination of our food and ag systems. His Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company was a major supporter of Proposition 37, the 2012 effort to label GMOs in California that failed at the ballot box.

Gettle reports sending out over 120,000 copies of the paper, primarily focused upon Santa Rosa, Petaluma and Healdsburg in Sonoma County.
