Petaluma Community Engagement Fair – May 7

You Are Invited to Join Us For

The First Annual Petaluma Community Engagement Fair:

Where Do You Want to Make a Difference?

In late January, the North Bay Community Engagement Fair in Santa Rosa drew over 100 exhibiting groups and 4000 attendees. The “Where Do We Go From Here” event at Aqus Café in Februrary was full to capacity with 300 attendees and over 100 community members turned away.  It is clear that many in our community are hungry for ways to make a difference.

Responding to that need and following the lead of these two events, the Petaluma Community Relations Council and other co-sponsors are bringing together local community groups, faith based organizations and nonprofits,  with volunteers and activists to encourage, celebrate and increase civic engagement in Petaluma in the first annual Petaluma Community Education Fair on Sunday, May 7, from 12-4 pm at Lucchesi Community Center.

We invite you to join us in welcoming Petaluma residents to increase engagement in the life of our community based on the values of respect, appreciation, and understanding of diversity and toward the goals of a sustainable environment, inclusive economy and the provision of assistance to those in need.

If you are a group or organization that has specific, concrete, and immediate volunteer opportunities for Petaluma residents please plan to attend. Don’t miss out! Time is short. Please respond ASAP!
